I swear this country is going to hell in a handbasket! I read an article through Dani’s Blog about the current issue in South Dakota where they have made all abortion illegal.
South Dakota House has passed a law that will nearly ban all abortions in the state.
Supporters are pushing the measure in hopes of drawing a legal challenge that will cause the US Supreme Court to reverse its 1973 decision legalizing abortion.
The bill banning all abortions in South Dakota was passed 47-to-22 in the House.
Amendments aimed at carving out exemptions for rape, incest and the health of women were rejected.
The bill does contain a loophole that allows abortions if women are in danger of dying. Doctors who do those abortions could not be prosecuted.”

I had also mentioned something about the progress of Tubey, but that’s not relevent right now because I just ripped back the sleeve and started working on it again.? I apartently h ve skinny arms and a wide back because the measurements I got for the cross back are for an XL sweater, but when I knit the first sleeve it was big on my, so I’m going to do decreases at the beginning of the sleeve to bring it down to a diameter I like and then finish it off with a ribbed edge.? I have a feeling I’m going to be ripping back a lot.—–
I got me a new toy today!? I’ve been wanting this for a couple of months now, and I finally decided to go out and spend a little money to get it instead of dragging my laptop all over the place just to get to my music.
This thing has got to be the coolest thing in the world!? Ok, I exaggerate, but I’m really happy with it. It also has the neatest display!
It doesn’t even look like it has a display when it’s not on, then you hit a button and there it is!? It’s got a lithium ion battery and charges directly off the computer, so I don’t have to fuss with rechargables or anything like that and it’s got 1 gig worth of space.? I think anything more would be overkill.? This is perfect for me!

I had to do some groceries today, and I saw these. I absolutely had to get these flowers because they make me happy. I needed a little happiness, and I’ve always wanted flowers like these. I’ve never bought Gerber daisies, and I’ve never been given gerber daisies either, and they’re my favorite! I also got a six pack of Jack Daniel’s wine coolers, and I’m going to get started working on my site plan for class now, so I’ll be a little tipsy, and a little happier, even though I have a killer headache now, and have had one all day. It went away for a while, but then came back. I hate headaches. Also, if you check the galleries (see sidebar for knitting gallery), you’ll find updated pictures of Tubey. I knit my life away yesterday, after I cleaned the crap out of my house. I even dusted! Yeah, I’m a bit emotional lately.—–
