socks on 2 circs.

I’m sure you all are wondering what’s going on in the knitting homefront.? Well, knitting socks as usual, but I just taught myself how to do it on two circs!? It seems to go by a lot quicker, and it doesn’t poke my hands!? It’s awesome.? I can’t wait to do a pair at the same time.? I’m trying to finish up the Sixth Sense socks before the May 31 deadline (I haven’t finished the leg of the second sock yet) and then I’ll start on the next pattern doing the 2 socks on 2 circs method.? I definitely like it this way better.? I’ll try to get pictures posted soon.—–

Nascar and Socks

Sixth Sense Sox

Here it is, my socks on circs! Well, and one finished one as well. As you can see, I’ve turned this pattern into toe socks. They’re REALLY comfy that way. It’s like a bit of heaven wrapped around your feet and keeping it secure. Oh, it’s so nice. I’m really likeing these socks. I love the pattern, the way the colors are working out, the way the fabric feels, all of it!

Homestead Speedway
This is where I spent the day Sunday. That, behind Little D is Homestead Speedway. That is the actual track! This was part of the MS 150. The rest stop was pit row and I got some pretty cool pictures of the area. Click on the pic above and see the whole set.
Jay
By the way, this guy here is Jay. I know you can’t see him because he was really busy this day, but he’s the guy that was keeping the track in order. He’s also the guy that gave both me and Little D two laps around the track hauling some serious @$$ in this red Nascar truck. :D We were both giddy afterwards!
