And I’m a bad receiver because I’ve been way too busy to document this and post it. I’ve been meaning to, but I just haven’t had time! Anyways, here are the goodies my pal sent me.
If you notice, the sockyarn says that it’s handdyed, and I think it was handspun as well! How awesome is that!? And then, she also sends me fiber! She’s officially got to be the best pal, and I suck for not posting this earlier.
Since I finished spinning and plying that last yarn, I started something else as well. Take a look.
This stuff is shiney and nice to work with. I’m really enjoying it. This is coming out really thin, which is exactly what I wanted because I was thinking of using this for something I’m designing. More details on that later, but I definitely see a difference in my spinning from the last batch I worked on. I think I’m getting even better!
I did some public spinning over the weekend while camping out, and I had a lot of people comment on how they’ve never actually seen anyone spinning before. One guy kept commenting on how I need a wheel, and he would do this in front of my boyfriend, so I’m hoping that’s a possibility come this Christmas.

Glad you like it all!
The sock yarn is not handspun but I did enjoy dyeing everything up for you.
Enjoy!
Love that purse. What a great pal and the yarn and fiber, what a lucky girl. Enjoy.

Those are some great gifts! How is the Favorite Socks book? I’ve been eyeing that one for some time. That’s awesome that the guy kept throwing out “You need a wheel” in front of your boyfriend. Hopefully he’ll take the hint.
